One of the most significant micro awakenings I ever had was 7 years ago when I opened a random book on the chakras to a random page and read a sentence that talked about how the unhealed archetype of the root chakra is “The Victim” and the healed expression is “The Mother.”
I didn’t read the whole book and can’t tell you what the title was, but all it took was one sentence to radically shift my perspective on healing and creating. I began to see with my oracular sight all the threads that kept myself, my feminine lineage, and other women separate from creating the nourishing and abundant realities we dream of. I started to work within this polarity in my healing work with clients, guiding women from feeling stuck and disconnected from their creative power, searching outside themselves for the thing that will heal them, to reconnecting to their desires at the center of their web to re-tether to their creative force to weave the web of their life.
Desire has always been the foundation of my work. Early on my path, I learned that when we, as women, have a connection to our divine desires, we can gain access to empowered choice. And when we have the ability to make empowered choices, we move from The Victim of life to The Mother Creator of our lives. This led me to radically liberate my desires over and over and dig deeper and deeper within to awaken the repressed desires unconsciously silenced to center the needs of others or perpetrate outdated storylines of martyrdom within my feminine lineage.
This is a constant practice and devotion. This is the work. As the feminine awakens on the planet, so do dormant expressions of feminine power, desires, passions, and creative force that have been asleep for eons. This is why each woman’s awakening is so powerful and needed at this time, as she holds the keys to birth new realities. This awakening is mirrored by our Earth Mother, which is why all the keys live in our bodies.
Anytime we are ungrounded, disassociating, in conflict (which is 99% of the time created by stories and voices that are not our own or something that happened in the past), a trauma response, fear, control, projecting blame, forcing, stuck, pushing, etc., there is space to fall into The Victim, into forgetting our power, because we are not rooted in our own authority and creative force that resides within. Having access to your desires is the quickest way to shift from The Victim to The Mother, embodied in your creative power as the weaver of your web on this Earth.
Can you hold your desires as a strong intention, trust them with all that you’ve got, and align your choices there? This is how you walk forth embodied in your power, dear woman.
