Three Soul Igniting Choices I Made in 2024

My word for 2024 was “Devotion,” and this year, I made a few life-changing pivots in devotion to my soul, dreams, and what I am here to steward.

I thought 2024 would be a year in which I devoted more time and space to my practices, pleasures, tools, the divine, my book, and my work. But underneath it all, what I really needed to devote to was the needs and desires of my soul, to the vision spirit was offering me, and this task was much, much bigger than more meditation and writing.

The first half of 2024 was another rinse cycle of deep grief and ancestral mending as I cleared out what was not mine to carry into the future. I experienced some deep betrayals, lived in the worst environment possible for my thriving, and got so uncomfortable and bored that I had no choice but to deepen my devotion to my soul and collapse some timelines to pull down expanded potentials of joy, freedom, and love to step into.

I made three choices this year that significantly impacted my life and brought me home to my soul in ways I hadn’t even realized I had gotten so far from.
